Built by Phlebotomists,
for Phlebotomists
We've sat in your shoes. We know the anxiety before exam day, the frustration with outdated materials, and the pressure to pass on the first try. PhlebotomySkills exists because we couldn't find a study platform that was honest, practical, and actually effective. So we built it.
Our Mission
Make ASCP PBT certification accessible to every phlebotomist, regardless of their background or budget.
The ASCP PBT exam shouldn't require $1500 courses, outdated textbooks, or guesswork. PhlebotomySkills is what we wished existed when we were studying: clinically accurate, exam-focused, clearly written, and genuinely affordable. We built it for students like you.

How We Got Here
In 2021, our team was frustrated. We'd helped phlebotomists prepare for their exams, but found the available resources were outdated, expensive, or focused on theory instead of the actual exam. We knew there had to be a better way.
We decided to build what we needed: A study platform designed by working phlebotomists, educators, and people who'd passed the ASCP PBT themselves. We interviewed hundreds of students, analyzed real exam data, and partnered with ASCP-certified educators to create materials that actually work.
The result? PhlebotomySkills. We built a platform with 150+ practice questions mapped to all 5 ASCP PBT domains, FSRS spaced repetition, timed exam simulations, and a 215-page study guide. Every piece of content is written by working lab professionals and updated when ASCP revises its exam blueprint.
Every day, we get messages from students who passed on their first try. That's why we do this.

PhlebotomySkills was founded by ASCP-certified phlebotomists and clinical lab educators with hands-on experience in hospital labs, reference labs, and clinics across the country. PhlebotomySkills is an independent platform and is not affiliated with or endorsed by ASCP, NHA, or AMT.
