418questions available for new practice
44items with dated source notes
137legacy versions held from new selection

What the review establishes

The dated items received AI-assisted checks of their answer, distractors, source support, and applicability. This is not clinician certification or certification-body endorsement. The rest of the available pool does not carry a claim of complete independent clinical validation.

Corrected concepts receive new question IDs. The 555 recorded versions include saved historical items, so an updated key does not rewrite an earlier score. 22 corrected versions address concepts from 55 held IDs; 82 held IDs still lack a reviewed replacement.

Keep the exam maps separate

The timed practice mock uses NHA CPT's five scored-domain weights: 100 study items in two hours. NHA's official exam also has 20 pretest items. ASCP PBT study topics are mapped separately; its computer-adaptive examination behavior is not reproduced by this mock.

Photographs support observation

21 lesson galleries contain 63 placements using 19 distinct photographs. Images are reused for different observation tasks; those counts do not mean the same number of unique photos or complete procedural demonstrations. Every displayed image has a source, credit, license, caption, and depiction limits.

Direct instructional photo gaps remain for:

  • Validated clinical transport packaging
  • Temperature-monitoring equipment
  • Current clinical analyzer and QC workflow
  • Patient identification without PHI
  • Forensic seals
  • Direct special-population procedure scenes

Printed references and older articles

The one-page additive and order-of-draw reference (PDF) was revised October 13, 2026 and received a separate AI-assisted source and PDF integrity review. It distinguishes tube variants, additive carryover, and test-specific handling. It is a study reference with stated limits.

Earlier procedural instructions in twelve blog articles are held for source review. Read the current guide-evaluation article for separate exam outlines and questions to ask of printed material. A revised web article does not establish that every earlier download has been validated.
